We have been able to obtain a few shots of Yuzhno from some people that work there...so many thanks to them for the images! As you can see, the climate is quite cold...so it will definitely be an adjustment for us! We have never lived in a place where it snows, so it should be interesting to see how we like it. Sakhalin island is located just above Japan, so we will be near some great vacation destinations as well. Sakhalin is 16 hours ahead of Houston, so that will be an adjustment also. People that live there have a saying, "It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from there!"
