There were at least 6 people in our small compound that have birthdays in February. I happen to be one of them, and turned the big 34 on the 10th. It seemed we were celebrating someone's birthday every weekend! Here are some pictures from the past month:
Going out to lunch with the girls for my birthday
Adam getting a "rock star" makeover at a birthday party
Adam the rock star, complete with the "yeah, so what" look on his face

I've always been curious: what do you mean when you say "compound"?
It is a term that is used more in the Middle East that it is here, but I just still use it out of habit. They are called camps here, but it's the same thing. It is basically company provided housing surrounded by a fence (or wall in the ME), complete with guards and a security checkpoint upon arrival.
Aha. Sounds like what Marc lived in when he was in the foreign service.
