Rock Island Tour

We took an all day tour of Palau's Rock Islands.  We visited several snorkeling spots, and Shane and I got to snorkel for the first time.  The tour guide looked after Adam for us so we could both go out at the same time, which was nice.  He sat on a paddle board the whole time while we snorkeled, and had a great time.  Here are some pictures from that day:

Jellyfish Lake

One of the things that we really wanted to do in Palau was swim in Jellyfish Lake.  Shane and I are both Survivor fans and both remember when a few contestants got to do it during one of the seasons.  The photos from it were so amazing.  Our photos didn't turn out as good, probably because they use top-notch equipment, and we were using a 35 millimeter camera.  At first, swimming with them was really freaky, but then it was just amazing.  To read more about Jellyfish Lake in Palau, go to the Wikipedia site.

Palau = Paradise

In one word, Palau was AMAZING.  It was probably the most beautiful place we have ever visited.  We arrived very late at night, so we weren't aware of how beautiful it was until we woke the next morning....to paradise!  Here are a few pictures from our resort...

We leave Wednesday for our vacation to Palau!  I am almost packed and ready to go.  We were going to leave on Saturday, but we got bumped off the plane due to an increase in business travelers that day.  So we decided to leave early and take the Wednesday flight.  This means that we will have about 4 days in Sapporo, Japan before leaving for Palau on Sunday.  Fine with me, I love Sapporo!  After Palau, we will be in Guam for 2 days and then back to Yuzhno via Sapporo.  In case you are wondering where these places are, I found this map...click on it for a larger version...
